In addition, the existing two-storey heritage building was refurbished to accommodate administration and educational resources.
The design outcome was a new modern and dynamic building that was linked via a glazed corridor to the newly refurbished heritage building. It was also designed along the east-west contour line enabling the building to maximise solar efficiency and provide views from the renal dialysis/chemotherapy chairs over the valley to the north.
