We were selected by the VHHSBA to prepare a Phase 1 Masterplan for the major redevelopment of Maryborough District Hospital, in central Victoria.
The hospital was established in the early 1870s. Overtime, the campus accreted numerous buildings, leading to the current amalgamation of services that suffer from a lack of adaptability and responsiveness to contemporary models of care. The relative location of the various acute and ambulatory functions compromises the efficient and nimble delivery of care.
Working closely with the Authority and Maryborough District Health Service (MDHS), we crafted a Masterplan solution that provides a roadmap to navigate the future physical development of the hospital.
